Mountain climbing

We organise treks on Africa's two highest mountains: Mount Kenya's Point Lenana (4,985 m) on the Naro Moru, Sirimon and Chogoria routes, and Kilimanjaro's Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) on the Marangu and Machame routes. Each climb includes guides, porters, a cook and park fees.

Choosing a route

Mount Kenya's Naro Moru route is the quickest to Point Lenana but gives little acclimatisation time; the Sirimon–Chogoria traverse is more scenic. On Kilimanjaro, Marangu offers huts, while Machame is a camping route whose “climb high, sleep low” profile helps acclimatisation.

Altitude

Altitude sickness can affect anyone regardless of fitness. Longer itineraries give your body more time to adjust and improve summit chances; we can add acclimatisation days to any climb.
