Nairobi to Samburu
Your driver-guide collects you from your Nairobi hotel for the drive north past Mount Kenya through Karatina, Nanyuki and Isiolo — about 345 km. You arrive at the lodge in time for a hot lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive until dusk.

Day 2
Full day in Samburu and Buffalo Springs
After breakfast at around 7:00 am, spend the day exploring Samburu and neighbouring Buffalo Springs national reserves. These semi-arid reserves are the place to look for Beisa oryx, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Somali ostrich, alongside elephants, lions and leopards that frequent the riverine forest.

Day 3 · Approx. 6 hours by road
Samburu to Nairobi
